Ascension’s Women of the Word (WOW) meets to see God’s word come alive through fellowship among Christian women and transform the way we live our lives as Christians in the Catholic Church.

We gather together to glorify God’s name, to learn more about our Catholic doctrine, and to share our personal experiences with each other. Most of all, we hope to offer friendship, strength and support to each other through prayer and sharing.

Our mission is to help every Catholic woman and girl in America encounter Jesus Christ through our Bible studies.

Thursday

Ascension Women of the Word gather each week to enjoy fellowship and growth in our Faith Journey with other women!  We would like to invite you to join us for our Fall program as we study Symbolon on FORMED.  This program will lead you through the "big picture" of the Catholic Faith and our Creed is the guide.  Symbolon brings together some of the most trusted Catholic teachers in the world to guide you through the breadth and richness of the Catholic faith.  We will be watching a 30 minute video together each week, follow along with a study guide and questions provided in the guide.

We will begin September 25 from 9:30am-11:00am in the Parish Hall.  Please bring $32 to cover the study guide.  Scholarships are available.
