Annual catholic appeal

The Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA) is a collaborative effort among the entire Archdiocese of St. Louis to raise money and support wide-ranging ministries throughout all 11 counties in the archdiocese. Every year, the ACA provides us an opportunity to realize the difference we can make when we act together in God’s love. By serving the Lord with gladness, we can see the impact it has on so many lives, including our own. The ministries that rely on the Appeal have a direct impact on the Church and our communities throughout the archdiocese.

Our committee is the liaison between the Annual Catholic Appeal and Ascension Parish in communicating the ACA message. Volunteers contribute their strategic plans and ideas to help further the ACA goal at Ascension as well as help out at two events per year (listed below).

The time commitment consists of planning meetings (~1x/month) January-August (less frequently after March). One Sunday in March we host a guest speaker (with donuts) after all morning Masses. In November we host a reception for our major donors.
