We have a Communications Request Form to provide a streamlined request process for staff, councils, committees, and ministry leaders to promote and publicize their events and meetings.



Bulletin Submissions & Deadlines

The bulletin submission deadline is 8:30 AM on the Monday BEFORE the bulletin is scheduled to publish.

All bulletin submissions are sent directly to Bulletin Editor Nicole Ferris. For questions regarding a submission or upcoming bulletin, Nicole may also be reached at nferris@asc.church.

Please plan ahead whenever possible. Ministries and organizations are encouraged to review their upcoming events and communication needs in advance. Planning ahead helps ensure information is submitted on time and allows adequate time for the bulletin to be prepared.

The bulletin is sent to the publisher on Tuesday. Once a bulletin has been submitted to the publisher, additional announcements, changes, or late submissions cannot be added.

Please note that submission deadlines may be significantly earlier around holidays and other special publishing schedules. At times, bulletins may be submitted two to three weeks in advance. Adjusted deadlines will be communicated ahead of time and must be followed for an item to be considered for publication.

Before Submitting

If your communication relates to an event or meeting taking place on parish property, the location must first be reserved and approved through the Parish Office. Submitting a communication request does not reserve parish facility space.

Before submitting your request, please review the checklist at the bottom of this page and make sure all necessary information is included. Submissions without valid contact information will not be accepted.

Publication & Editing

Due to limited space and the high volume of communication requests, submissions may be edited for length, clarity, formatting, or consistency. Submission does not guarantee publication, and we may not be able to accommodate all requested publication dates or frequencies.

The Bulletin Editor will determine placement and frequency based on available space, timing, and parish communication needs. Information submitted may also be used, at our discretion, across Ascension's other communication channels, including the website, social media, email communications, and other parish media.
