The purpose of this ministry is to welcome all new parishioners, provide them with information regarding Ascension, and encourage them to explore and possibly join some of the many activities available.

What we do:

Members of this ministry call, e-mail, and text individuals or families new to the parish and welcome them to Ascension. We mention things that might be pertinent to them and answer questions they may have about the church, school, PSR, or any activity/ministry. The Parish Partner works as an intermediary and checks on the correct information before getting back to his/her parishioner with an answer or a contact. Depending on the number of new parishioners and the number of Parish Partners, each member will be assigned about two new families a month or less.
